ABOUT

Danae Diaz is a Spanish-born illustrator and animation artist based in Germany. Following her Fine Art studies in Barcelona, Manchester and Berlin, she settled in Berlin for a decade before relocating to Stuttgart a few years ago. She now resides there with her family.

Danae has worked together with numerous animation studios, newspapers and magazines, advertising agencies, publishing houses and lifestile, design and fashion brands. Her animation work (especially the Music Video “Caffeine” for Brandt Brauer Frick) has been shown among others at Illustrative festival, Pictoplasma and Gallery Nucleus and at film and animation festivals worldwide. 

Her figurative work gravitates between animation and illustration, combines line and color, plays with perspective and is sometimes subtly surreal. She is always excited to find new collaborations and challenges.
